Message: I’ve been shopping here on and off for about a decade. The wine is high quality. I also like the Japanese whiskey and scotch selections. I do miss the weekend tastings and I hope they return soon.

Message: Always a neighborhood gem, known for its wide selection of wines and spirits. At the end of 2022, they refurbished the interior, and it now has very comfortable seating in the main room and a delightful curved bar in the back room. The staff are as friendly and knowledgeable as they always were - there to offer good advice whatever your budget, and happy to let you get on with it if you know what you want. No high pressure sales tactics or attempts to up sell you here. Thoroughly recommended.

Message: Always friendly, always ready to help. They know their wines and can make great suggestions for any occasion or food pairing. Thank God for SFWTC, it's how I got thru COVID. Great selection of not only wines, but a really broad range of spirits, too. They're remodeling but open during the work. (As of 10/2022) Putting in a new tasting bar. They offer 10% off any wines in their tastings if you buy them that day. I will always go here rather than save a couple bucks at BevMo or Total Wine. You can't beat local!

Message: This place is a "must visit" whether you just have a casual interest in wine & spirits, or you're an enthusiast. The depth of their catalog is truly immense, and well curated. If you're hunting for a special or uncommon liquor, they likely have it here. The staff were very welcoming, and almost effortlessly were able to recommend some great picks. Pricing is quite reasonable, they make an effort to offer a range of options with every type. A hidden gem in SF, will definitely be back.

Message: Excellent stock, both local and old world. This was the only place that still had Opus One Overture that wasn't exorbitantly priced.. Staff was very helpful and helped me find what I needed within a few minutes of entering. I do wish I lived closer, but I'm glad that there even exists a shop outside of franchises that carries some of what they have here. On a positive note, since it's rather out of the way from downtown, parking was incredibly easy. Just parked next to the church across the street. One of the better parking experiences in SF.

Message: If you like quality imbibment then The San Francisco Wine Tasting is the place for you. It's a small out of the way boutique that caters to all walks of lushery. I showed up with a $100 gift certificate that was burning a hole in my pocket and they took excellent care of me. I spoke with the whiskey sommelier and left with a Sexton Irish Wiskey, a Smoke Wagon Burbon, and a 1888 Rum. They were all SUPERB and punched way above their weight. Thank You, Thank You and Thank You again for your perfect recommendations. I will be back for more.

Message: Just received a delivery from SFWTC.. super impressed with selection, price, shipping and timing. Due to COVID travel restrictions, I’m not sure if/when I’ll visit in person, but we definitely plan to ship again!
